Socialist countries are known by their efforts for the welfare and health of their people. Nevertheless, provinces like Cao Bang in the North of Vietnam, whose population is all constituted of ethnic minorities and many other rural areas lack good medical facilities and medicines..

We have been closely working with the Pediatric Department of Cao Bang Province Hospital since 1992. The assistance includes "Training Seminars" for medical staff and young mothers of ethnic groups, "Medical Equipment", etc. In the Southern areas we have helped to the "Building of Village Clinics", "Digging Wells" for fresh water, "Small Bridges" and "Rural Roads".
